On the afternoon of March 28 local time,CNGR and Doosan Recycling Solution,a battery recycling subsidiary of Doosan Enerbility,signed a cooperation agreement on battery recycling business in Frankfurt,Germany.Choi Jaehyuk,the representative of Doosan Recycling Solution,and Bai Junxie,the Deputy General Manager of the Recycling Department of CNGR,attended the signing ceremony.
According to the framework agreement,both parties will collaborate in the future on lithium extraction from battery black mass.Based on the framework agreement,they will establish a long-term and stable cooperative relationship through an off-take agreement,leveraging their respective technological advantages to jointly promote the development of the recycling business.
It is understood that Doosan Recycling Solution's independently developed lithium recovery technology for battery black mass boasts advantages such as high economic efficiency,environmental friendliness,and high recovery rates.Through this collaboration,CNGR will further improve its global recycling business layout,realizing the circular recycling of waste batteries in a more economical and environmentally friendly manner.This will have a positive impact on the company's compliance with the US IRA Act and the European Union's obligations regarding the reuse of critical raw materials under its core raw materials law.
